Patrick took the girls to work to see the BEARS!! How cute and what fun for them.

Friends

Last night we were invited to go on a hayride with our friends The Mollberg's. They really know how to put on a party!! There was singing, laughing, running, and lots of memories made. Thank you Paul, Megan, Katherine and Zac.

Creating

The girls love Play Doh and personally I think that so many of life's problems could be solved with a clump of soft, colorful, distinct smelling dough. Rylee received some really neat play doh sets for her birthday from Papaw and Auntie Donna and they are being used and enjoyed! I love to see and hear the creative juices that flow during these times.

Tradition

Tradition is so important to me and my family. I believe it is the fabric of who we are and I could not imagine raising my daughters without them. I pray that they will carry on some of our family traditions and create their own as well. That said, Patrick has had the tradition of decorating gingerbread houses at Christmas with the girls, he is soooo good at it!! Great memories were made.

The Visit

Finally after 5 years the girls "willingly" visited Santa. Bailey was very excited/scared to death, and never looked into Santa's eyes, but did manage to rattle off a half dozen things that were on her wish list. Rylee who is getting to be such a big girl had no reservations at all and seemed to be quite proud of herself. So fun to experience this moment.

Christmas Programs

Spent the evening with cuddle buddies watching the old classic christmas cartoons! So fun to relive my youth with the girls and Patrick.

Reading

One of the greatest joys for me so far in our homeschooling adventure is hearing Rylee read!! She really is doing great and she enjoys reading. Bailey is pretend reading and we love to hear the enthusiasm and the interesting stories that she makes up!!! So awesome!!

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

Tonight a fire was built and enjoyed!! The warmth and closeness that it provided was sweet! Songs were sang and stories were told. Smores were eaten, and Tommas was close by...........

Dreams Really Do Come True

Look what found my wishing, hopeful, girls. They have named him Tommas. Lots of petting and Ahhhhhhs and Ohhhhhs around here, we shall see....................

She Turned 6

Today our sweet Rylee turned 6. Lots of goodies, laughter and singing. Happy Birthday Rylee, we love you.

My love

This man is my friend, my love and my life!! Thank you sweet Jesus for giving me such a perfect match. I love him with all of my being and I truly respect and admire him for the sacrifices that he has made for his family. Dear Lord please bless him and guide him as provider and keeper of his home.

Advent Calendar

The girls opened door number one of their advent calendar, always such anticipation and a fun tradition for them. 24 more days until we celebrate the birth of our Saviour.

Today I am sad

Lord help me feel better, help me to always consider another person's point of view and comfort all who are sad today.

Accomplished

Today I feel accomplished. My sweet, very over worked husband took our girls for 3 and 1/2 hours away, and as I folded clothes and mopped floors, It was strange to have sweet music playing and no MOM , being called out . It made me happy and proud of what I do accomplish every day with 2 little ones under foot. Thank you Babe and Thank you God for what you always show me and thank you for my actual sight!!

Kittens

Oh my there has been a lot of talk about kitties in our home lately!! Today the girls told me that they need to have a very private talk with each other about the kittens that they were going to be getting? Oh the pressure that I am living under. Christmas is coming??????

Tea Party

After homeschooling today, the girls requested a good old fashioned tea party, which included peanut butter and honey finger sandwiches, cheese crisps, sliced bananas, frosted animal cookies and of course herbal tea. Every morsel was eaten.

Chicken Soup for the Soul

Today was a rough not feeling well kind of day. This helped.

Cousins

This weekend was filled with cousin love, birthday celebrations, laughter, and memories.

Jump Roping

The girls have owned the jump rope for 2 years and this month it clicked, they just get it!!! It is so fun just to watch their little lives unfold!!! Doncha just love the tongue? DETERMINATION

Homeschooling

Future

I ask the King of Kings, The Lord of all, The Messiah, Creator of the heavens and earth, Lover of my soul, Jehovah, Lamb of God, Lilly of the Valley, Prince of Peace, The Great I am, The Alpha and the Omega, GOD to have mercy on us and to spare us his wrath while we tarry. I am sore afraid for my family while we tarry! Help us God.

My Dad

What would I do without Him? He is father, grandfather, father in law, but most of all he is my friend!! I love him and thank God for him everyday!! I love you Daddy!

Today I turned 43. Thank you Lord for another year to live in your Glory!! Great Day!! Lots of goodies, cards, gifties and love.

Exhausted

After a full day of shopping, wrapping, decorating, cooking for my birthday tommorrow, my sweetness just collapsed!! Can't wait to see the fruits of his labor!! Love you Babe.
