Dinner on the Lanai

Sometimes I like to throw my family for a little loop.... While the girls were playing outside with Daddy, I set the lanai table with linens and candles and we ate dinner on the lanai. They loved it!

Beach

Today we packed up a cooler, sand toys, and towels and headed to the beach, and what an absolute delight!!! It was paradise.

Red

I think that every room needs a little red!! Had an extra can of Red spray paint and had to unleash it on my antique adirondack chair. Love it!!

God's Word

Us

Funny thing..... Patrick and I do not have many pictures together, seems like I am always snapping photos of him and the girls, and he is snapping of me and the girls. Yesterday while at the mall I extended the camera and snapped one of us.

Bailey blew out her candles and then she was "5". Happy Birthday my sweet love.

Entertained

These three constantly keep me entertained. This is what I found when I stepped out of the house on Easter afternoon: father on mower, two daughters riding on mower, easter baskets on heads.... PRICELESS.

Birthday Party

So we celebrated the Bailes birthday a week early, just so she could be surrounded by her best friends!! Happy almost 5th Birthday my sweetness!!

Easter

Our Easter was filled with delicious cookies (thanks to Auntie Donna), Awesome church service, egg coloring, but most of all realizing the true Passion of Christ!

Risen

This story is not about death but about LIFE!!

Good Friday

Here is an amazing fact about Jesus's death: When people were put to death on the cross, it was common for the Roman soldiers to break their legs. With broken legs, people could not hold themselves up to keep from suffocating, and would die more quickly. The soldiers broke the legs of the first robber and then they broke the legs of the second robber, but when they got to Jesus they saw that he was already dead, so they decided that there was no reason to break His legs. This is so amazing!!! God foretold hundreds of years before in Psalm 34:20 that this would happen. The scripture says, "He keeps all his bones, not one of them is broken." We serve an amazing God!! Thank you Precious Jesus for dying in my place.

Clothesline

Today is the first time this year that I hung my laundry on the clothesline to dry. I love to dry my clothes outside, makes me think of simpler times.

Hosanna

And as he rode [into Jerusalem), they spread their garments on the road. Creative

What can I say, these two are creative!! Mom can we have some markers? , Mom can we have some glue? , Mom do you have any sticks? , Mom do you have a curtain?, Mom can we have a stick puppet show? These two constantly keep me on my toes!!

Happy

Make up your mind to be happy—even when you don’t have money, even when you don’t have a clear complexion, even when you don’t have the Nobel Prize. Some of the happiest people I know have none of these things the world insists are necessary for satisfaction and joy. Why are they happy? I suppose it is because they don’t listen very well. Or they listen too well—to the things their hearts tell them. They glory in the beauty of the earth. They glory in the rivers and the canyons and the call of the meadowlark. They glory in the love of their families, the stumbling steps of a toddler, the wise and tender smile of the elderly.
They glory in honest labor. They glory in the scriptures. They glory in the presence of the Holy Ghost.
One thing I know for certain: the time we have here goes by far too quickly. Don’t waste any more time sitting on the bench watching life pass you by.
