During the family visit, Patrick encouraged the kiddos to tromp and frolic in the rain, Oh what fun was had.

It has been so fun visiting with our family. We always enjoy their company and the girls will always treasure the memories with their cousins.

This weekend was filled with cousin love. It is so great to see cousins at different ages love each other and play together. Fun times.

Special Day

Rylee has been attending Vacation Bible school this week at our church and today she professed her faith and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. Thank you Lord for drawing my precious daughter to your kingdom.

Sixteen

This weekend we are traveling to attend my sweet Pay Pay's sixteenth birthday party!! It is so hard for me to wrap my mind around this one. If only we could slow the hands of time. Happy Birthday Pay.

When I came across this fabulous picture of a cozy A Frame home I immediately thought of my mom. She always dreamed of building one and spoke frequently about it, just wish her dream could have come true. Today I will just smile and remember her.......

I love summer thunderstorms!! I love the ominous sky, the booming thunder and the pounding rain. One of my wishes is to lay on a hammock on a wrap around porch and listen to the rain all day long, is that too much to wish for?

Season

I enjoyed the season in my life where I swam until I was a prune, played kickball, ate watermelon off of the rind drips and all, caught roly polies, jump roped, had sleepovers, laughed until tears ran down my cheeks, ate whatever I wanted with no worries, the list goes on and on. It's not that I can't still do all of these things, but it is just different now. Now I get to watch my children do all of these things and it fills my heart.

Ave Maria

Today I took the girls on a little adventure.... We went to Ave Maria and had lunch and visited their art museum. Fun little field trip.

Tuna

This little monkey ate 2 Tuna sandwiches today for lunch, she simply adores the little fish sandwiches with the crusts off of course.

Signs

While in a bit of a huff, Rylee stormed into her bedroom and posted a sign that said "Dont come in my room by Rylee Lennon", and after about 20 minutes of reflecting she posted another sign that said "You can come in my room".... we are soooo looking forward to the pre teen years.
