Whew, what an absolute whirlwind!! Carols were sung, cookies were decorated (and eaten), gifts were wrapped and unwrapped, friends and family visited, but most important praises were lifted up to the King of all Kings!!
"God rest you merry Gentlemen, Let nothing you dismay; Remember Christ our Saviour, Was born on Christmas-day; To save our souls from Satan's power, Which long time had gone astray: This brings Tydings of Comfort and Joy."
This Big black lump of love had our whole family in an absolute tailspin. We were all out side and some how the front door got left open and our precious Donkey got out!! The primal wailing was more than a mom and dad could take. Patrick searched our front property and Rylee (hysterical) and I took off the other direction. Rylee asked God please let my Donkey be okay!!!! All of the sudden Bailey who was on the lanai said I hear something MOM he is over there, of course we ran and scooped up the biggest black lump of love. He is home safe and sound Thank you God.
We visited the oldest home in our area today. The home and gardens were exquisite. So interesting to see how people lived in the 1800's. Great history lesson.
Today I asked sweet Bailes what she was going to ask Santa for and here was her reply: Enchanted Forest, Cat Park, Leapster Game, Jungle in my pocket and a NEW PRESIDENT!!! Santa PLEASE grant our wishes!!! Had to laugh out loud.
Trimming the tree is always FUN!! Hot cocoa sipped, christmas carols sung, and lots of oooooooohs and aaaaaaaahs over sentimental ornaments, such treasured memories.
Today my sweetness turned seven! A day filled with big breakfast, hugs, singing, Build a Bear workshop, Chili's, family birthday wishes and present opening. We love you Rylee. Happy Birthday.
