Chili Cookoff

Today we went to support Patrick and his sous chef in a chili cookoff, and what fun we had. There were scads of people there sampling chili and enjoying ocean breezes. The girls are so adventurous in that they willingly sampled all types of chili, even kangaroo chili. Eventhough they did not win, they got tons of well deserved compliments and we had a great afternoon at the beach.

Beach Day

Woke up today and decided to Rock out the beach, so in true Lennon fashion we scurried and gathered and packed and headed for the beach and we were not dissapointed!! The girls ran and played and swam and ended a fun excursion with ice cream..... great day!

Independance Day Fun

Today we celebrated the birth of our country with great friends!! There was an abundance of yummy food, drinks and of course wonderful wet water. A great time was had and more fun memories were made with the Mollbergs.

My Heart

Every time I look at this picture my heart skips a beat!!! This man brings such a peace and joy to my heart. I love you so and thank you so very much for all that you give to me and our family.

Savannah

After a while of not being able to blog, I am finally up and running again!! We just recently spent a long weekend with my precious friends of 20 some odd years!! Lots of sun, shopping, eating and laughing till tears spilled out of our eyes. I believe that everyone should have friends that know your history, and these two know it all. Thanks Carrie for your genuine southern hospitality, we love you and we will definitely be coming again next year.

Visit

This weekend my sweet brother and niece paid our family a visit and it was nice. Lots of eating, resting, talking, and of course swimming. I even got a great car wash out of the visit!!!! So great to stay connected to the people that we love and care for. Family visits are so special.

Estuary field trip

We participated in a great field trip with out homeschool group. Who knew that we had such an awesome and perfect estuary in our back yard. So much surrounds us, you just have to take the opportunities to see and enjoy.
