Skating

Yesterday we took the girls roller skating, or should I say scoot skating? They actually did pretty good and they had a great time. We will keep practicing and hopefully soon Patrick and I will be able to join them, we stayed flat footed during the learning process.

Cool

This morning I walked out the front door and it was the first day where I actually noticed a slight difference in the temperature. I called the girls and they were EXCITED, Bailey ran in and put on her wool cap and hot chocolate was requested. I guess any day that we aren't incinerated is a "cool" day.

Randoms

Wow September is gone and I got caught up and have not blogged, gently slapping my wrist. We are in full swing with our homeschooling, and I am so thankful to God for his provision. Here are some randoms from the past couple of months.

Summer

Our down time is quickly coming to a close. Sometimes I get pangs of guilt when I hear how others have spent their summers (camps,vacations,etc), but then I turn the corner and see two girls playing hard and using their imaginations for hours on end. They have had spas, cooked, video productions (webkinz fashion show), animal trades, rug hooking, pool splashing, family visiting and simply just relaxing. Then I remember that this is what kids are supposed to do,

Margaret

So thankful to God for placing Margaret in our lives!! Sweet lady with a kind servant's heart. We had a great time with her at Pine Island.

Family

Enjoyed visiting with my brother and his family this past weekend. Love sharing all our beautiful beaches and sunsets with family. Lots of swimming, eating and political talk going on in our home. Fun memories!!
